First slide

Another month has quickly gone by for us at Empeal. We are once again so proud of our team for getting us through another successful month. We have spent the past few weeks working tirelessly to deliver the best possible digital health service to our users. Along the way we have discussed some very concerning issues such as health and wellness amongst employees and the impact covid19 is having on our mental health. We also raised awareness towards International Men’s Day and worked closely once again with our charity partner, The Irish Guide Dogs.

Employee Attraction and Retention Webinar

We were delighted to have the opportunity to speak to Diane Murphy who is the head of Human Resource and Talent Acquisition for Altada Technologies in a short webinar. Many interesting topics were discussed such as talent attraction and retention strategies along with the successful implementation of onboarding plans for companies.

Top 29 Wellness Startups

It is great to be recognized as one of the 29 best Dublin wellness start-ups. These start-ups were chosen based on exceptional performance in innovation, growth, management, and societal impact. We are so proud of our team for coming this far and we are very much looking forward to our new and exciting projects within the artificial intelligence space.

Charity Partner

In November we also continued to work with our charity partner, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind for a charity event. It was great to see such a large turnout for the event and we are always delighted to help out as much as we can to raise funds for this great cause.

International Men's Day

This month we also celebrated International Men’s Day. One of the six pillars of International Men’s Day is to improve gender relations and promote gender equality for both men and women. At Empeal we are delighted to have an equally balanced team of talented men and women who have successfully worked together to excel our goals within the digital health space.

Lifestyle Medicine

We also discussed some very interesting topics with our audience in November such as lifestyle medicine and the impact it can have on our wellbeing and health is discussed. Lifestyle medicine addresses the root causes of chronic diseases by focusing on lifestyle choices that give rise to these diseases in the first place. When implemented lifestyle medicine can prevent, treat, and even reverse these conditions.

Employee Health and Wellness

Figures show that although many companies offer employee assistant programs it is still clear that employees are under-utilising the services. One predominant reason for this is due to leaders being unable to accurately identify employee's health and wellness needs. An effective employee health and wellness strategy can decrease turnover rates, boost employee engagement, and attract and retain new talent. Take a look at this next blog to learn more
