Last Thursday Sohini De, founder of Empeal sat down with Sam Assad from Dublin City FM to discuss Empeal’s journey as a start-up company. Sohini’s thought process of deciding to start a new company was explained along with her passion to help others who suffer from chronic diseases through nutrition and lifestyle changes.

Empeal’s transition from a corporate wellbeing platform to seeking global partnerships with health services, global insurance companies and human resource companies was also talked through. As with many businesses Covid-19 has brought along many challenges and barriers in the past year. On the upside Sohini mentioned how Empeal used this time to gather more information within the market to help improve the service offering of Empeal by making the platform as simple but effective as possible for clients to use.

Sohini also gave light to Empeal’s relationship with Dublin Chamber and how beneficial this partnership has been. Sohini explained how Dublin Chamber has allowed small businesses to be given a voice to be heard especially throughout the pandemic.
